Tri Tag Rugby
Tri Tag Rugby embraces everything that makes Rugby unique including scrums, lineouts, and the breakdown, providing a softer introduction to the game in a way that is fun and accessible for all participants, regardless of age, skill or experience.
Tri Tag Rugby simulates Rugby match play in a safe, non-contact environment.
- Starts Friday 28 March
- Time: 5.45-6.30pm at Bantry
- Cost: $50 covers insurance + Training shirt
14 week program
Run over 14 sessions during the upcoming rugby season, specialist Mighty U5 coaches will engage your little rugby legends during each session using fun coaching cues to help them understand each skill. The program rotates between drills and finishes with a modified game. Players will learn the rules and game play of rugby, and develop vital skills including:
- Catching and passing
- Running with the ball
- Scoring a try
- Standing in a straight defensive line
- Tagging and defence
- Field boundaries
- Respect for teammates and referees
Fun for all
It’s also a lot of fun for parents, who will have the opportunity to participate in each weekly session and help to guide their kids through the fun activities.

- Go to rugbyxplorer.com.au
- Login or create a new profile
- Choose Register from the options
- Choose Find a Club
- Select or create the person to register
- Search Seaforth and select Seaforth Raiders JRUFC
- Choose Role – Training Only Participant
- Choose Registration Type – XV Juniors
- Choose Duration - Season
- Progress to Registration Summary
- Choose Donate to Club – enter ‘Other Amount’ enter $30 – ADD
- Progress to payment
